It's Like Rain on Your Wedding Day

I'm starting to feel a little like that guy in the old Twilight Zone sketch who just wanted time to read - then got infinite time and infinite books and broke his glasses. Before my accident I was so stressed my hair was falling out. I was - as I mentioned in a previous post - trying to do everything and not doing anything well. Then everything came to a sudden, jarring stop. Now I find myself with no obligations, responsible for nothing. The catch is, I can't actually DO anything that would lead me to enjoy or even appreciate this newfound leisure. Isn't it ironic?

sounds like life wanted u to slow down-and not distract yourself-like we all do....

Not trying to make light of this but when u mention the hair etc....maybe the break ur life needed and wanted was really being still-not easy...

but ps in the pic your hair looks great-so maybe that is somehow the good effect...

My mom says the same thing.

Thanks for the compliment, but the hair loss wasn't really a thinning problem - it's a nice quarter sized bald spot that remains quite shiny and bald. Mom says my thyroid meds probably need to be adjusted and she's probably right, but I hate having blood work done. Think I'm gonna have to suck it up, though. :-(
